The Municipal Information Center on Radni\u010dn\u00e9 Square is undergoing a transformation. Thanks to the international CoDe MoRe project, implemented under the Interreg VI-A SK-AT program, an interactive presentation room is being created on its premises to showcase the natural and cultural heritage of the region and partner territories. <\/strong><\/p>\n

The project also brings broader improvements in environmental education and visitor infrastructure. A key component is the creation of permanent facilities for environmental education, visitor guidance, and the provision of environmental information, including the expansion of visitor centers with interactive elements and related equipment. <\/p>\n

Modern Technologies <\/strong><\/p>\n

The new presentation room will introduce the involved regions to visitors, explain the project itself, and offer specific tips on where to go and what to discover in Pezinok. This will be facilitated by interactive elements and modern technologies. <\/p>\n

\u201cAt the entrance to the room, there is a sensor that detects the visitor. The blinds lower, the lighting adjusts, and the presentation begins automatically,\u201d<\/em> explained Ale\u0161 Volanka, project manager of the City Strategy and Development Department, regarding the technical details. He added that in addition to the fully automatic presentation, a manual mode will be available in case a guide accompanies a group.<\/p>\n

The centerpiece of the room will be a map of the model regions, which will guide visitors through the Little Carpathian landscape and partner territories. Interactivity will be enhanced by special furniture elements hiding \u201ctreasures\u201d from nature\u2014items typical of the reservation, the park, or the Little Carpathians. <\/p>\n

The space will be divided thematically. One part will focus on geodiversity and wildlife, another will present the archaeological research of the Pereck\u00fd House\u2014one of the project activities\u2014and the third will showcase the entire region and its partners. The completion of the room is expected during the summer months. <\/p>\n

The front part of the information center has also undergone renovation. A sales wall for displaying regional products and promotional materials has been added, along with a new built-in display presenting the CoDe MoRe project. \u201cThis allows us to introduce not only the project partners but also local producers, suppliers, and artists,\u201d<\/em> added A. Volanka. All information will be available in three languages, and work is also underway to make the content accessible in additional language versions. <\/p>\n

Open-Air Educational Points<\/strong><\/p>\n

Closely related to the new presentation room is the construction of open-air educational points near the Pereg viticultural house. Visitors will be encouraged to explore them starting at the information center, where they will receive basic information and an invitation to head outside the city center to discover its surrounding lands. <\/p>\n

The individual educational points will together form an educational trail that can be joined from several directions. Each point will be equipped with an information panel featuring a description of the site, photographs, and an explanation of why the location is significant. The panels will also include QR codes, providing visitors with access to expanded content online. <\/p>\n

\u201cThe ideal starting point for the educational points is on Kupeck\u00e9ho Street at the first figure\u2014Pereg. In total, 13 stops can be discovered, ranging from Roz\u00e1lka to the Pereck\u00fd House. The information panels vary in size and shape\u2014from larger information boards to smaller ones. Visitors can look forward to interesting interactive, educational, and tactile elements. The trail includes a game for children and the general public designed to motivate the discovery of the landscape,\u201d<\/em> stated project manager Michaela Zemanovi\u010dov\u00e1.<\/p>\n

The project also introduces a new approach to education. This is not conventional teaching, but rather heritage interpretation, which links knowledge from mathematics, biology, culture, and history directly with specific locations in the field. <\/p>\n

Three Main Investments<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cThe CoDe MoRe project stands on three main investment pillars: the expansion of the Municipal Information Center with a presentation room for natural phenomena, the construction of educational points near the Pereg viticultural house, and the creation of a network of educational points in Pezinok. Activities included archaeological research, the results of which will be used on information boards and in the Municipal Information Center. Within the project, certified guides were also trained to participate in accompanying activities,\u201d<\/em> summarized Miroslava Petru\u0161ov\u00e1, Head of the City Strategy and Development Department.<\/p>\n

The non-profit organization Barbora, which is also one of the project partners, has collaborated on the project from the beginning, along with local museums, municipal organizations, and schools that participated in exchange stays and excursions between regions. Pezinok resident Jakub \u0160teinecker contributed to the creation of the video trailer and other presentation materials. <\/p>\n

The transformation of the information center thus brings a new way to get to know the region, with an emphasis on nature, history, and shared partnerships.<\/p>\n
